OUR STORY
Thank you so much for visiting our brand’s website! I am Tala the founder of Curl Sauce products. My brand is a woman owned business that offers hair products based on natural ingredients that are beneficial for hair growth. Curl Sauce was inspired by my bringing up in the Middle East and the process it took to learn how to care for my curls. We take pride in our mission which is representation and education about hair. In result, it led to the creation of our products that are for all types of hair ranging from Kinky, Curly, Wavy, and Coily. We carefully created products that will style, hydrate, and define your gorgeous curls. Our products are made with passion and our message is to “ Guide you in owning your natural individuality”
Experience and Education
I graduated with a B.S in Product Development. and upon graduating I have established Curl sauce which I have been developing for over 5 years.
Since the age of 16, I started experiencing with different curly hair products as well as learning about the ingredients within! I started to make curly hair tutorials and product reviews on Instagram and Youtube. Upon doing that, I grew a strong passion for formulating new products using the ingredients that worked for my hair. Which influenced me to pursue my degree in product development and gain the proper knowledge on formulating cosmetic products. After years of experimenting and creating products, I found the perfect ingredients to create Curl Sauce.
How it all started
Growing up with curly hair wasn’t the easiest experience according to the beauty standards I was surrounded with. Especially being around people mostly with straight hair and no products catered to my hair type. I was influenced to straighten my hair and damage my natural curls to fit into the image of beauty. Upon reaching a certain age and beginning to embrace my natural hair I began experimenting with products. I couldn’t find the perfect product to cater to my curl type.
Therefore, upon finishing my education, I have researched and formulated products that cater to curl types all over the world.
